  1. Had some time today to explore the forum and I love it! I love practicing with your videos when I am not able to make it to a studio class and I find the posts on proper alignment very helpful. I am excited to be a part of this community. Thanks Candace! Good luck to everyone - these prizes are amazing!
  2. Just this week I decided to really commit to my practice by placing it first and foremost in my day. Since I am great at procrastinating, this has been working out quite well. Plus I start the day off nicely stretched and in a relaxed state of mind.
  3. I've been experimenting making shower scrubs with epsom salt, coconut oil and essential oils - working on the scents but I love that you can scrub and moisturize your body at the same time, especially after a long day.
  4. I have a love/dislike (hate is so harsh) relationship with the mirrors. It is helpful to make some visual adjustments but it is also distracting when trying to balance because you can see a lot of movement. While I can do without the mirrors, they don't stop me from practicing in that studio.
  5. I am currently in a 200 hr YTT and feeling a bit overwhelmed so thanks for this thread - its quite helpful to know that everything we are learning doesn't have to be incorporated into a class. Thanks!
  6. Right now I am loving Savasana because I have finally learned to let go of all thoughts and just be. It's so blissful!
  7. I would have to say camel gives me difficulty - it strains my lower back. I used to let my ego force me into it but now I listen to my body and only go as deep as it lets me.
