  3. Good morning! (It's morning here in PA!) I hope that my post finds you all well. I started practicing yoga about a year and a half ago and I am so in love. I will be starting teacher training at my home studio next October and I am super excited. Right now, I am looking for some suggested reading materials. I really enjoy reading with my morning coffee and have been looking to learn more about yoga. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! I work in Higher Education and am very interested in the health benefits of yoga, specifically with anxiety and mindfulness. Thank you! -MS
  4. I've been practicing yoga for a little over a year and forward fold doesn't feel good for me at all either! I always have to bend my knees a little and when I started doing that, it felt a lot better!

  8. Hi! My name is Shelly Stark and I am 27 years old. I started practicing yoga about a year and a half ago, but really dedicated myself to practice after losing my beloved Grandmother a year ago. After her passing, I kept waiting to feel better and was looking for the next milestone thinking that at this time, "I will feel better", and I didn't. After a month and a half of not going to a yoga class, I went again and truly fell head of heels for it. Nothing can ever replace a loved on, but yoga brought so much too me at a time I really needed it! No, I am pretty obsessed I am really excited to have stumbled upon this forum and am looking forward to taking in what everyone has too share! Stark
