  1. Great! I will also try to post daily. I took a picture to evaluate my tree pose and I found some things that I want to work on. First, I want to make sure I'm pressing evenly on my foot. Right now I'm digging into the outside to stay balanced. Second, I am currently grabbing my waist with my hands, so I would like to fix that. Third, I need to engage my core more!
  2. I've decided on tree pose. Whenever it comes up in a video I "cheat" my way through it and never come back to work on it. Would anyone be interested in being my accountability partner?
  3. Hello community members! I am somewhat new to the community. I have been following the blog for about a year now but am now joining in the fun. I started practicing yoga a year ago after a horrible sciatica flare up. I practiced on and off, and started grad school in the fall. I was doing pretty well until this past semester I had another flare up because I was sitting so much, also- stress. So a month and a half ago I started really committing to the practice and I feel so much better. I have a weird relationship with exercise and I'm farther away from family and friends, so I thought I would join the community to get some support and encouragement! I am excited to see what this brings! All the best- gb
