  1. Hi everyone,

Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you about this issue. The Blog section is under the "Browse" Tab.

You can place your cursor over the Browse Tab and you will see the link for the Forum Blog pop up.

I didn't make it its own tab because I was trying to avoid confusion between that Forum Blog tab and the YBC Blog tab. Let me know if you have any other problems and I will be happy to work together to find the best possible solution for everyone. Cheers!

  2. Hi YBC Forum Members!

I wanted to let everyone know that moving forward, forum administrators and moderators can and will edit any post where there is external content quoted, so there is no confusion as to who authored the content.

This is simply to help benefit the members in being able to easily follow topic conversations.

Thanks for being apart of our community!

  3. Scottcraft,

I quickly did a search for reviews for Tapatalk. It is able to be plugged into our forum host software, but the reviews have been pretty negative. And most of those negative reviews have been since the software update for our forum. I will let some time go by and see if bugs are worked out. But for now I unfortunately will not be implementing Tapatalk. Thanks for your understanding.

  4. I appreciate the new forum update! I like the images on the side bar because they're easy to overlook on the site, and, it's refreshing to see what everyone has posted before!  Is it possible for the images to rotate, or is it just based on most recent uploads?

The images in the side bar are the most recent pictures uploaded. There currently is no way for them to automatically rotate. I assume that when people upload new photos, the images in the side bar will change. :54:

  5. HERE IT IS!!!!!

We are very excited about the new clean look of the forum. As you get used to it, you will realize it is a little more user friendly.

The BIGGEST UPDATE is with the MOBILE VERSION. When coming to the forum from a mobile device, the user interface is seamless and easy to use. We hope this makes it easier for everyone to enjoy the forum from anywhere. No more having to be stuck at your desktop to check in on your conversations. :24:

If anyone is having any issues with the new version, please don't hesitate to private message me on the forum or email me at greg@yogabycandace.com

I will be more than happy to help.

  6. Hi Yogis,

I wanted to let everyone know that within the next 8 business days the forum will be getting a big software update. During this software update, we will lose our custom look and there will be some small changes to the layout. Please be patient with us during this transition as it will take us some time to rebuild the YBC look and feel.

This update will have a much more modern and clean look. I have been told it will be a little more user friendly as well. We look forward to bringing you a better product soon. Thanks for your patiences.

  8. Hi,

I recently have come across some issues with the sign up process with the forum. Anyone in the last few months who signed up for the YBC Forum but are still not able to post a comment or join in the conversations, please email me at:

    greg@yogabycandace.com

Give me the email you used to sign up and I can go into the system and manual validate you.

Since the forum company host updated the software, the validation emails seem to have stopped and I am currently working on the problem. Thank you for your patience!

  10. Hi Candace! Could you please update your youtube playlists by adding recent videos? I find that I choose your videos for that day either by length or body part focus. Having all of them categorized would be a huge help actually - thank you.

By the way, seeing you master all these arm balance transitions on your recent retreats has given me a major boost of confidence and motivation to keep at it!

    Hi PaulaH,

I would like to understand better what you would like to see in the YouTube Channel? If you want to see recent videos, you can see the first playlist on the home page called "uploads".

I went into the most recent videos and noticed that they have been added to the length of video playlists, and when appropriate body parts videos. Let me know if I did not understand what you were looking for. Thanks.

  11. Hi there Jessica! It seems as though Charly and Jvanhouten have come to an understanding and it is nice that they had this platform to maturely discuss what they experienced in their yoga class.

I think we should move on from this conversation and not drum up more questions or reasons for what happened. Thanks for your understanding. Greg

  12. Hi YBCers,

I went ahead and activated the live chat tab at the index of the forum page. If you find yourself online at the same time as other members, it can be a quicker and more efficient way to hold a conversation with one another. A few people had requested the feature and we are happy to have it.  :54:

Clicking on the "Chat" tab just below the YBC logo with automatically enter you into the chat room. Once you have entered you can simply join the conversation. There is a button to the right of the page that also allows you to move the chat room into a separate window that will make it convenient to continue chatting live and surf the forum at the same time.

If you want to leave the chat but stay on the forum, be sure the click the "leave chat" button on the right side of the chat page.

  13. Hi everyone!

I've been on this forum for only a couple of days but I have been participating in a very enjoyable topic (about crowded yoga classes).

I got the feeling that a forum format is a bit slow, and personal messaging is only a one on one conversation. I would like to suggest a chatroom of some kind where people can have larger conversation with each other at a faster rate than forum topics, if that's possible!

    Cheers!

This forum host does have a live chat tab that I can add to the forum. I had taken it down from the start of the forum because we were not sure if it would be used. Since the start of the forum, there have not been a lot of members on at the website at the same time to take advantage of the service. But now that the forum has grown, maybe it is something that can be utilized. I will look into bringing it back and if any other members read this and would like this feature, please respond and let me know so we can be sure there is a demand for this. Thanks.

  14. Currently reading and loving "don't sweat the small stuff, and it's all small stuff" by Richard Carlson. I actually have been carrying it with my everywhere I go :)

I read this book too. I'm usually a high stressed person who worries too much.  A friend of mine gave it to me as a "gift". It wasn't funny at first, but I did get some use out of the read.
