  1. yogagrammy liked a post in a topic by Vicky in Ladies - how do you avoid panty lines when wearing tight yoga pants?
I practice by myself at home so I don't really care about the panty lines that may show up during practice, but because I also wear my yoga pants a lot throughout the day (to walk my dogs, go to the supermarket, etc) I really don't want them to show when I'm outside!
And since I have quite a big butt and some nice (not) love handles I usually wear thongs with a wide sideband or brazilian style underpants like PaulaH mentioned!

Intimissimi, Sloggi and also H&M has some really nice underwear that are my go-to for yoga pants but also on everyday life too!
The simpler and less seamed the better!

I don't really have to tell you a very funny story about my yogafails... they are all pretty mild up to now (except maybe one time I tried to transition from headstand to pincha and I planted on my knee on a marbled floor...which wasn't exactly funny bacause it hurt AF and I was bruised for a couple weeks).
But they say that a picture is 1000 words... so I'm going to show you one I self-shot last week. Hahahaha!!!

    Hi guys!
My opinion on this matter is that everything needs to have a limit and posting or not posting photos/videos of your personal practice should only depend on your mood/will...
I'm a person that works better when there is a program in my life... and this also goes to my yoga practice. I practiced better through the months that Candace had a Yoga Program that I would follow through the week, than the months she didn't, where I have to visit her channel and scroll through the videos and search what video I feel like doing today... I just like it this way.
I've participated in a few challenges in Instagram (I'm on my 3rd currently) and what I like the most is the feeling I get from the yoga community. People supporting and inspiring each other. I've "met" a lot of people with who I have the same struggles, fears, even people that have RA like I do.
And although I have very few followers I have already indpired a couple of people who saw my posts to start yoga..and this felt really awesome!!
Not to mention that through challenges I've tried poses I never thought I could do.

Hi Candace! I've told you I love your upper body strength videos and I'm using them a lot since I want to improve in arm balances/pincha/handstand.
But what I have realised is that I'm feeling really stiff on my upper back and even with my overall yoga practice I haven't increased my flexibility in this area not even a little...
Also in July I had serious pain there, and the MRI showed a hernia in the thoracic spine (T7-T8), so I avoided any forward/back bending for more than 2 months. Now I'm feeling really good and I'm already practising like I did before.

So I want to ask if you could make a video with a focus on poses/flows that would help increase upper back flexibility! (or if you already have made one that I haven't found, please give me a link!)
    Thanks in advance!!

I just wanted to support you in honoring yourself and the place in your practice. You don't need to share your progress to have the progress or to have the delight of making progress. Yoga is about oneself. I commend you for honoring yourself.

Watch the video before you try it. You can hover the time line to speed through stuff you know already so you can find the new poses, for example, if there's a five minute series of sun salutations, speed up to the next move, etc.
Previewing a 40 minute class can be done in five minutes. Once you're comfortable with the sequences, do it live (so to speak)

Hi Candace, thank you so much for your videos and for this opportunity to directly ask you a question.
I've been working on transitioning from a headstand to a forearm stand and it just seems impossible to me. I do ab workouts as well as shoulder press with weights at the gym to build my upper body and core strength. When doing the headstand I try and put most of my weight on my arms and try and lift the head off the floor, however, i just can't transition into a full forearm stand. Could you please recommend some exercises i could do to improve my upper body strength and maybe some general tips on how to tackle this transition. Thank you again, all the best! <3

Thanks for sharing this!! We are promoting the app, yes, but in the interest of total transparency, the channel only earns revenue when vids are played from an android phone, (iPhone and iPad don't show the ads) so playing the vids on the computer is also much appreciated and helps keep us going! #gottapaythebills

This is my first official challenge participation and my first ever posted yoga pose. I feel very very uncomfortable about this, but the YBC community seems like a good place to jump in and just go for it.
All summer, I've concentrated on beginner arm balances like crow and baby grasshopper. I've decided to shift gears for this program.
For the Mindful Yoga Program, I'm working on Mermaid Pose. As a runner, my hip flexors are tiiiiggghhht, and I'm tired of fighting back from related injuries. I feel like a flexibility challenge can help me work on some peaceful positivity in the process too.  #ybcmindful
First every Mermaid Pose attempt....lots to work on!

Hey guys! I have been practicing yoga on and off for about 4 years now. In the past year I have really made an effort to make my practice a priority because I see how much it helps my anxiety (along with regular therapy).

    Hi Candace,
First off, just wanted to say that my wife and I our huge fans. I'm a firefighter and was definitely never a flexible person. I contracted a bacterial infection similar to Lyme disease (joint pain, weakness, nausea, etc.) which lead to me being laid up for a year going through experimental treatments. During this time I found your videos and read your story, and your yoga teachings have lead to a huge quality of life improvement. I'm now back on my feet and getting back to fighting fit AND I can touch my toes for the first time in my life, so thank you for the huge help you've been in getting me through this and better than ever!
So my suggestion for a yoga video is: a full body stretch/loosen for when you're sick. Your videos already have plenty here for us in that condition, but I figured one specifically could be a nice touch. Most days during my treatment I would pick one of the 15 minute videos but I'd usually have to take breaks/skip steps/not make it all the way through. I figure with your experience you probably know better than anyone exactly what I'm talking about, and could help out a lot of people!
    Thanks,
    Kerry

This is the best thread on the forum right now, I am dying!!!
I fall all. the. time. Caught this one on camera a few weeks back - the transition from crow to koundinyasana 2. Some days my leg feels like a feather, other days it's like a rock. Was totally a rock that day!

and EricaKaye my gosh how ambitious! (and impressive) I've always been to scared to try anything while drinking.
It's so good to know everybody does it. It made me stop that day but I will keep going. oooh, I so want to get into crow pose... maybe i'll get a funny snap of that :s  and my absolute dream is scorpion.
On a sidenote, I joined a gym to supplement my practice and had a beginner legs class of one today. #trainersarescary

I was trying to get a pic doing compass pose. I usually take a video then screen shot for a picture. Well, I do have a pretty funny yoga fail video on Instagram if you want to check it out. I was going to delete it but every time I watched it I laughed so hard I just had to share it! I fell onto my dog laying beside me on the deck but he got up and gave me a kiss to tell me it was ok. I still laugh when I look at it!
