I've been practicing meditation for about a year and a half

I'm all the sudden trying to concentrate on my breath,this worked for me in the past but doesn't anymore

has anyone experienced this other than me?

Yeah this has happened to me. I think I get easily distracted by the familiar. To combat this I've changed techniques. You could try Mala meditation, mantras, visualization, guided, etc. I would change it up and see if that helps
