Embarrassing Yoga Question.

3 posts in this topic

Ok this for the ladies, men I apologize in advance. Ok so I am just going to be blunt about this and pray I am not the only one with this issue. I have been working on supported headstand and shoulder stand, which I really enjoy, however every time I go up into these positions.. Well um air goes into the va jay jay and when I come out of the pose, well we all know the unladylike sounds that follow. I am assuming I should be squeezing my pelvic muscles, like a kegal of some sort but I can't seem to focus on the pose, squeezing and breathing all at once. Lovely ladies of yoga please help!

Google pelvic floor exercises, there are tons of resources to choose from. There are in-depth articles that explain what tensing the right muscles should feel like, etc. It's definitely more than just kegals. I hope this helps.

I have wind issues when doing yoga.. I thought it might be a common problem and just nature.. I didn't think there would be ways to elimate it!
