Setting Your Intention For Practice Or Day Ahead

I've noticed in some videos you have stated set your intention or focus your intention and repeat the word 3 times. Is this also finding your mantra? Could you give some examples or guidance on what sort of things this could include please?

Of course! So, I guess it could really be whatever you want it to be. Sometimes when I'm stressed out or there's a lot going on in my head I'll repeat my intention or mantra three times just to really focus in rather than thinking it once and letting it go, if that makes any sense. For an intention, I just ask for whatever it is I need at the time. Sometimes it's something like "Today I'll focus on my breathing" (and then I'll repeat the word 'breathing' in my head a couple times), or "In this practice, I will pay close attention to the alignment of my hips" or even "In this practice, I will think nothing and listen to my breath." For a mantra I'll say something in my head like, "Breathe in calm, exhale stress." I hope that helps!
