Will yoga help with flexibility and strength for dance

I'm 14 and I'm going to tryout for my high school dance team and I was wondering if yoga would help me strengthen my arms, core, back and legs. I go to the gym rarely but still workout at home and stretch 4-5 times a week+twice a day. Please and thank you.

Yeah, yoga strengthens the entire body. If you're looking to tone and strengthen I would recommend power or vinyasa yoga. If you are looking for something slower, you can try hatha or restorative.

If you don't have the resources to attend a live class, try some beginner classes on youtube!
